Scott Dinsdale ran tech at major US music labels when they brought down Napster, and he negotiated personally with Apple’s Steve Jobs to launch iTunes…

But here we dive into the deal he helped do with YouTube to create VEVO, which solved copyright and made the music industry - and Google - billions.

He shares where he thinks the news industry is missing out, and how it should recognise the star power of its best reporters or risk losing them in the shakeout.
