I have been censored by FB, not because of using small rude words, because they don’t want me to speak the truth. I have moved on to social platforms where I am able to speak my truth without being treated with disrespect (and called names by immature individuals). I enjoy reading what others have to say and contributing!

Sen Hawley just had to bring up the Bidens even in this hearing! Seriously? Hawley is an ass and lied to America when it's convenient for him just like Zuckerberg, Musk etc

America does have a serious debt problem and China is growing faster.

But for peace, we kinda need both to come together and not fight.

Bring in federal investigators! Zuckerberg is and always has been a tool, he is unable to understand ethics and has no moral code. He is a manipulative jerk

In the eyes of shareholders, he’s a genius businessman.

But I agree the FBI will be called in at some point. I think that’s inevitable now.

Politicians of every hue and view have shown a startling ability through history to discover their conscience when it is in their best interests.

But as I have said here before, I am more than happy to overlook any motivation to get Meta off the board so we can build a more social network in its place.

I think almost everyone wants that now - except Zuck.

Fb isn't the govt, they dont need to allow anyones speech. U r protected from govt retaliation. Except....trump attacks people and their rights. TT has banned 4 accounts of mine since coming back online. It's muskrat/dt controlled.

Meta and other Big Tech giants hide their evils behind an outmoded law called Section 230, that was intended to enable platforms to grow in the early days of the web.

But it's now abused and used by them to publish anything they want - true or false, good or bad, awful or illegal - but they cannot be charged with an offence.

Terrorists used Meta to organise shootings, and people died at San Bernadino. Meta walked away claiming 230.

People trafficking was organised on Craigslist. It knew, and people suffered terribly. It walked out of court without any problem because of 230.

230 is now facing demands for its repeal. When that happens, the platforms will be responsible for what they publish, and change will begin, mark my words.

That's about right Linda, but there's a very serious trial listed for later this year where 31 US States will expose the true depths of Meta's harms to children before a judge.

That, combined with the antitrust trial concluding right now which argues that Zuck created an illegal monopoly by buying Instagram and WhatsApp, plus the investigation following this Congressional testimony, should give us hope the ball is now rolling towards justice and a better outcome for society.

Sarah Wynn-Williams' book was amazing. Investigative reporters like me often need to rely on the courage of whistleblowers like Ms Wynn-Williams.

When people have been pushed so far that they feel the need to risk absolutely everything to reveal or expose something, then we have two responsibilities:

1. To listen, and then to act if we consider it truthful and accurate, and

2. To protect those who have shown the courage to stand-up.

Do that and society has another important check and balance in place. That's something all of us can do to make the world we live in a better place.
