Welcome to part two of my investigation into the implications for the news industry of Google’s roll out of no-click search.

My previous post has become my most read newsletter so far, in just two days, and I’ve spent all week on calls to industry groups, IP lawyers, publishers, and politicians…

But let’s begin as usual by welcoming the new subs over the past two days.

Hi then to new joiners from Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Yahoo, AFP, the UK’s Daily Telegraph and the second largest publisher Johnston Press, Straits Times (love Singapore), Bauer Media, Costa Rica’s La Nacion, smaller publishers Concrete Playground and The Squiz here in Australia, and the family-owned Press Publications in Minneapolis. Welcome all. Great to have you along.

Let’s not wait then, let’s get to it…
